wildcard things you wished FOR could do
(like "FORTUNE IN (*.BAS) DO RENAME %A
%2*.*" to remove parts of file names).
Lets you do all sorts of things
including distinguishing file name roots
from their extensions as well as
incrementing file names by specified
values.  Freeware.
